Situated in the faultlines of the sonic spectrum, Interstice Records is an independent record label dedicated to amplifying the sounds of those who don’t fit in elsewhere.
Founded in 2026 in Glasgow, Interstice gives voices to the unheard, coalesces disparate frequencies and provides an anchor point for unique ideas, from both Scotland and further afield.
With the highly anticipated ‘Periphery Lives’ from debut artist Mirren set to release this winter, and a view to expand the roster extremely soon; Interstice is poised to project the indefinable soundscapes of the world through an exciting future of releases and events.

anam creative: collaborative projects
Interstice Records formed through our industry collective project which supported a group of young people from different backgrounds to gain experience in running an independent record label.
Participants were awarded bursaries, a label start-up budget and a collective release budget to support them to setup their record label. They were also invited to attend talks by established independent record labels working across the UK and the rest of the world.
This project was generously supported by Youth Music and Creative Scotland. Thank you to Warp Records, Lost Map Records, Rhythm Section, Somewhere Press, Gravity Pleasure, No Soap, INDEX:Records and co:clear.
