anam: design commission
about
anam creative is updating some of our branding so that we can have a more cohesive identity. As part of this, we are putting together a new small scale commission for a designer to create text based logos for our collaborative projects, events and community fund (launching later this year).
This opportunity is for Scotland based emerging artists aged 18–30.
We particularly encourage applications from people who are:
Women
Black, Asian or from other racialised communities
Disabled and/or neurodivergent
From low-income or working-class backgrounds
Trans and/or non-binary
Non-graduates
This opportunity is funded by the People’s Postcode Fund.
We currently use the Arial Helvetica font and would like to keep this as the base for each design, although the text can be altered as with our current anam creative logo. We are looking for both black and white versions and colour versions for each heading. We’ll discuss this with you more if you are successful in your application.

Fee
The fee is based on Scottish Artists Union rates of £234.40 p/day for new graduate artists. The total fee is £710, this is calculated from two 8 hour days of creative work and one 8 hour day for revisions.
How to apply
Simply send a portfolio of your work and a short statement (written, video or audio) about yourself and your practice to info@anamcreative.com.
You can apply in written, audio, or video format. If sending in video or audio, please use Youtube or Soundcloud links.
Your application should be no longer than 200 words or 2 minutes if applying via video or audio.
